Littleton Chevrolet’s Teacher and School Giveaway – Winner – Whitefield School, Whitefield, NH
Wow, what amazing individuals and schools we have in the North Country. Their dedication and commitment to not only educate each and every child but to give them a chance to survive in our crazy world. On Saturday, November 19, we had the pleasure of welcoming our final winner in Littleton Chevrolet’s School and Teacher Giveaway, The Whitefield School in Whitefield, NH. There are some many incredible things happening at the school. We had the pleasure of chatting with Eileen and Dwight Armstrong to give us an update on what is happening this year. Eileen told us about all the wonderful goings on at the school. Not only do they teach but teach with the purpose. They have seen a significant growth in the students test scores after Covid. The students are more engaged and there are memorable connections between all the parties including the parents. They have adopted a process called “BE READY”. They take time to make sure that each student is ready everyday for the challenges of school and life. They make sure the students feel safe and secure. One awesome initiative they have been working on is with the NH Food Bank. They have developed a small food bank right in the school so that the students and/or the community has food at their fingertips. The staff continually connects with the students and families to make sure they have the nutrition to keep all going. What an incredible program!!! They have also created a WELLNESS CENTER five years ago. This safe space allows counselors to address a child’s demeanor or an outburst in the classroom in order to get them READY or stay READY throughout the day. Its a quiet space to work on the problem or they just might need some time to relax and work with some special breathing techniques for better focus. It also can be used as a social or emotional learning space. Boy is this school have it together and their resilience is off the charts. Another forward thinking approach they have adopted is the creation of a CTE (Career and Technical Education) program for 7th and 8th graders. These students have an opportunity to go hands on with skills like welding, maple syrup making, criminal justice, hospitality, and flower arranging to name a few. Talking about getting them ready early. This surely exposes each student to a variety of skills and jobs to better position themselves for a career after high school. When asked what the school was going to do with the $500.00 Amazon Gift Card they won, Eileen said that the staff and teachers are all working closely with Principal, Michael Cronin to see what is best direction to go that will benefit the school and the students. Everyone at Littleton Chevrolet is so very proud of compassionate and forward thinking staff at the Whitefield School. Wishing all of you the best for a great finish to the year and a wonderful holiday season.

Did you know that this young man had worked for Littleton Chevrolet for years starting in the mid to late 1990’s. Bobby Dubb-AH as some us referred to him as, is also know as Rob Wisnouckus and he was another individual that shared in the building of our foundation that is Littleton Chevrolet today. Rob worked as a talented technician and as one of our service writers/booker. He had a couple of stints with us over the years and always made the most of his opportunities with us as well as assisting in growing our business. Rob always had bigger ambitions in life and he has surely done some amazing things after Littleton Chevrolet. Lets list them…he is an entrepreneur, he owns property locally, he’s a builder, musician, jewelry maker, photographer, videographer and currently works at Bretton Woods with their Canopy Tours. Over the past few years, Rob has started his own company called Kings Square Coffee and Tea Co. which is housed in Whitefield, NH in a building called THE ALLARD in which he is adding his touches to bring it back to life. One of Rob’s biggest passions is for being outside in nature and hiking all over the world. He has tackled some of the most beautiful places on the earth. Currently he is in Nepal on another long distance hike exploring the culture and meeting many new friends. Today, we want to celebrate you and thank you for being part of our Littleton Chevrolet family. Congrats to you and all of your accomplishments. Littleton Chevrolet’s 30th Anniversary Celebration – Feature: Bryna McCarty – USA World Cup competitor
Littleton Chevrolet’s 30th Anniversary Celebration – As winter approaches, and the snow flies, swooshing down the slopes consumes skiers over the weekends, we recognize the talents of this young lady, Bryna McCarty. Bryna was a very gifted skier and athlete with the US Ski Team. Her hard work and dedication surely paid off as she took her talents to the Nor Am, the European Cup and the WORLD CUP competing all over the world in some of the most beautiful and historic countries. She excelled in the Giant Slalom, Super G, and the Downhill. She would also throw in an occasional Slalom run just for good measure. We had the pleasure of first meeting Bryna back in 2003 when she purchased this Chevrolet Cavalier from our General Manager, Duane Coute. It was times like these when an unknown customer walks through the doors and you know nothing about them to walking out the door a customer but more importantly a friend. After 19 years, that friendship still exists. Thank you Bryna for being part of our Littleton Chevrolet history and bringing back some wonderful memories. We bet you wish you still had that Chevy Cruze…it was a sweet ride.

Littleton Chevrolet’s 30th Anniversary Celebration – Tonight we celebrate this gentleman who is 92 years young. Fred Brooks was one of our original Littleton Chevrolet employees back in 1992. Fred is a quiet mild – mannered individual that just went about his business. He helped out where needed. You could say he was a jack of all trades. He helped to clean the showroom and the service department, he got the mail, pick up/delivered parts and what ever else needed to be done to keep the dealership running. Fred’s demeanor was a gentle one but when he spoke you surely listened intently. Either you did something wrong and he needed to correct you or he might give you some fatherly advice. In his down time, Fred was one of the most competitive golfers we have ever come across. Lets not forgot about the sweet swing that launched the golf ball down the middle every single time. Don’t you know how many people he played with that got so made at him for that. His swing was so pure like Freddy Couples at the Masters. You could surely count on his consistency. You would always see him in the early morning hours at Bethlehem Country Club playing a round and then in the late afternoon (on the flats), Fred would just walk around working on his game, pounding golf balls. He always enjoyed what Bethlehem and our area offers, peace and quiet, the sounds of birds singing, that clean 603 air….and that special time to reflect by yourself. Today, Fred still lives in town just relaxing and enjoying his life. Everyone at Littleton Chevrolet thanks you Fred for being one of the individuals that helped make Littleton Chevrolet what it is today. Take care old friend. If you know Fred Brooks, give him a shout out to say hello.

Littleton Chevrolet 30th Anniversary Celebration – Today we look back at our Grand Opening Celebration in July of 2008. This project had been a long time coming since the team had worked out of the old building since 1992. The aging facility did what we needed it to do but we were limited. The experience during those times was enhanced through our employee’s enthusiasm but we always had to deal with spacing, heat issues, old bathrooms with only one stall, customer waiting area in the middle of the showroom, no space for our team to enjoy lunch, training area plus a pile of more questions that needed to be addressed. The ground broke in the fall of 2007. We worked out of the old building only 20 feet in front of the new facility.
When the keys were handed over in the beginning of July, a quick move occurred, and we were finally open for business. We are so thankful for the investment that the Autosaver Group has put in to provide all of our employees with wonderful working spaces as well as the customer experience that has been enhanced by the first DRIVE – UP SERVICE DOOR in the area, large customer lounge, an area for coffee/snacks and state of the art restroom provisions. Our service department has more workspace that is large enough it can handle the customer demand efficiently. We are proud that we currently staff 11 Service Technicians and of the 11, 6 are GM Master Certified Technicians. Our showroom is more than double the size of the old building. Spacing, more desks for sales pros and our office staff have their own work area.
Below you will find pictures of our Grand Opening Celebration in 2008. Do you see anyone you know?
