THAT’S A WRAP!! What an incredible weekend filled with comradery, dedication, a desire to be the best and continuing their education. On Saturday, January 21st, Littleton Chevrolet hosted and supported the very first Electric Vehicle Firefighter Safety Training in its service department. The day started with everyone’s arrival and to be greeted with open arms, coffee, breakfast items and snacks then to be followed by a noon time lunch for the 72 individuals that attended. The training was 100% organized by Littleton Chevrolet as their way of providing 1st responders with the knowledge and safety measures on how they should handle an accident or fire that pertain to electric, hydrogen, fuel cell and propane vehicles. This complex and descriptive course was presented by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Fire Departments from New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Manchester/Boston Airport attended. This 8 hour training allowed the firefighters an opportunity to be face to face with Jason Emery NFBA trainer so they could learn the basis of batteries and other modes of power to the hands on walk around of a Chevrolet Bolt. The chance to ask and discuss many questions of what to do in an accident or fire with electric vehicles was impactful. Littleton Chevrolet is passionate about selling and servicing vehicles within our communities but even more passionate about the safety for those individuals that put their life on the line everyday. We thank all of the firefighters, chiefs and press that attended and taking time out of their busy lives to spend the day with us. Thank you for all you do for your town and communities. We also thank Littleton Fire and Rescue Chief Mike McQuillen, Bethlehem Fire Chief Jack Anderson, Jason Emery and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for their efforts in assisting us in conducting our event.

Littleton Chevrolet is very proud to support all of the firefighters and their efforts. Stay safe and Happy 2023. Littleton Fire Rescue Bethlehem Fire Department Littleton (town), NH Northern New Hampshire Emergency Alerts
